Research Analyst – Fixed Income (Position ##2005)

Position Summary

As a Research Analyst, you will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; knowledge of technology, information systems, and the web; as well as your research abilities to work with more senior colleagues and support the operational work of the Research Team.

Job Profile

Research, collect and compile information; Maintain and update quantitative and qualitative economic, financial, or statistical databases.
Evaluate economic, financial or statistical relationships in databases. Analyze economic time series data.
Design systems/set-ups competent to generate trade recommendations based on fundamental/technical analyses.
Usage of Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel and other resources.
Usage of technical analysis, charting and application of other market timing methods to suggest market trends and trading opportunities across different time frames (mainly short term).
Focus on generating/updating the knowledge base through various means. The candidate will serve as the “knowledge-house” of the branch. Responsible for elevating branch’s general knowledge level. Will be assisting in developing and delivering new joiner training.
Will be covering research for Fixed Income Markets (US, UK, Eurozone, Canada etc)
Will be required to work European Hours

Education Qualifications

Financial background preferred (Degree in Economics or MBA in Finance)

Work Experience

0 - 5 years

Skill Set

• Good communication skills and should be comfortable giving presentations

Compensation: Compensation will have two components – Base salary & a variable bonus
