Senior Software Developer (Position #8002)

Position Summary

A good software developer has excellent software engineering skills, ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. We are looking for someone who can exhibit creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus, can work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. The ideal candidate would have strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. This role will design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes.

Job Profile

The responsibilities include:

Design applications and software solutions to solve challenging problems.
Understand the fundamentals of capital markets and use the business knowledge in daily development tasks.
Contribute to implementation of the application lifecycle requirements, design, developments and build, integration and release configuration, application optimization, and best practices adoption.
Explore technologies and propose the best fit for solving a business problem.
Hands on coding with Java and .Net and integration with a variety of backend solutions.

Requirements

Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Work Experience

6-10 years of revelant experience

Skill Set

Proficient with Core Java
Proficiency with either a relational or a NoSQL database.
Experience with Multithreaded and Realtime data handling applications
Technical mindset with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
Experience and understanding of Kafka ecosystem
Familiarity with front end technologies (web or desktop)
Familiarity with containers and related tools (Kubernetes/Swarm)
Preferred - Experience in Finance domain/ Knowledge of trading/risk/execution systems
