Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Risk Analyst within the Business Operations team. The analyst will work closely with experienced risk professionals and be responsible for conducting daily analysis of market risk across the firm. This is a full-time position, with the potential for career growth and development within the organization.

Working hours: The individual will be required to work in the shifts based on the business requirements.

Job Profile

  • Analyze, monitor, and report on market risk across various asset classes.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and validation of market risk processes.
  • Produce daily and monthly market risk reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and perform detailed analysis as needed.
  • Connect to multiple data sources, conduct relevant analysis, and build databases to support risk models.

Requirements

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, statistics, mathematics, or finance.

Work Experience

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.

Skill Set

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen interest in exploring the financial markets and risk management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and VBA.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant work experience in market risk, risk management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Professional qualification in risk management (FRM, PRM) is preferred.
