Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our market risk team. The intern will work closely with our experienced risk professionals and will be involved in the activities related to performing day-to-day analysis of market risk across the firm.

Job Profile

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the analyzing, monitoring, and reporting of market risk across various asset classes
Participate in the development and testing of market risk models

Assist in the production of daily and monthly market risk reports
Help with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed
Connecting to several data sources, conducting relevant analysis, and creating useful databases to support the risk models.

Requirements

Education Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree or a graduate in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or mathematics.

Work Experience

Not required.

Skill Set

Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Familiarity with financial markets and products
Proficient in programming languages such as Python/R
Proficient in Excel and VBA
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Internship or work experience in market risk, risk management or a related field is a plus
Professional qualification in risk management (FRM, PRM) would be much preferred.

This is a full-time paid internship,

Duration of the internship will be 6 months as per the requirement of the organization.

Working hours: The individual will be required to work in the shifts based on the region/market considered for the project.

Location: Gurgaon
Stipend: Rs. 25000/-
